What this is
A rebuild of the Zombie Blood website, a Spanish spirit launched in 2014 that tried to raise money and was on sale for a while before it stopped being made. Its original site stopped being updated in November 2015 and its domain lapsed afterwards.
It is published as a work sample and as an archive of the project. It is not a commercial site: it does not sell, take orders, collect subscriptions or provide any service. The shop, campaign and subscription buttons are kept exactly as they were and, when pressed, explain that they no longer work.
What this is tells the full story of how it was put back up.
Age
The content concerns an alcoholic drink. To see it you must declare you are eighteen or over. Drink with your head on: Enjoy responsible drinking.
Intellectual property
The art direction of the project is Dumaker’s: the nine illustrations of the story, the logo, the label and the bottle design are his, signed in 2014. His name appears in the brand files kept from the project.
All of that material, along with the texts and the video, was created between 2014 and 2015 for Zombie Blood. Its rights belong to its authors and to whoever commissioned that work, not to the person signing this rebuild, and it is reproduced here on a non-commercial basis, for archival purposes and as a sample of development work.
The code of this site and its web design are the work of Carlos Morcillo Fernández.
If you hold rights over any of that material and would rather it came down, write through carlosmorcillo.com and it will be removed without argument.
Liability
The site is offered as is, with no guarantee of availability or of being free from errors. Links leading elsewhere are outside this control; some point at accounts abandoned since 2015, and you are warned before following them.
Law and jurisdiction
Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 apply. Spanish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
The Spanish version of this text prevails over this translation.
